Turlock is committed to educating its' citizens. We work with schools to provide presentations and tours of City buildings. We offer classes through our Police, Fire, and Recreation departments. This section of our web site also features information about recycling, water conservation, responsible pet ownership, and personal safety.

SCHOOLS & STUDENTS
We work with the school district to educate students on preserving the environment, as well as presentations from our Fire Department.

TOURS OF CITY BUILDINGS
We offer tours of our City buildings, including the fire stations, water treatment facility, police department, and City Hall.

CLASSES
We offer CPR classes through our Fire Department, rape aggression defense classes through our Police Department, activities and classes for youth and adults through our Recreation Division, and a Citizens Academy for concerned citizens who want to make our community better through the Police Department.

Learn what you can put in the blue and green bins, commercial and business recycling, and composting and organics.

WATER CONSERVATION
Learn how to do your part to conserve water, obtain a home water survey kit, and learn about
