The Planning, Building & Safety, and Engineering departments work together in the physical development of the City of Turlock. Whether it is the building of new homes, a new shopping center, constructing new roads or repairing old ones, and other public infrastructure projects the Development Services Division works together to protect the public's health, safety and welfare.

DEVELOPMENT IMPACT FEES
One time charges applied to new development, redevelopment, expansions and tenant improvements depending on the proposed use.

DEVELOPMENT FEE ESTIMATE

LANDSCAPING
What is allowed for your front yard landscaping, in your parkway strip, and street trees.

Street closures will be in effect on Friday, 12/7/18 related to the 40th Annual Downtown Turlock Christmas Parade hosted by the City of Turlock - Parks, Recreation & Public Facilities Department. Eastbound Canal Dr. (Main-Johnson), Main St. (Canal-Lander), Broadway (Market-Chestnut), and Golden State Blvd. (Olive-Crane) will be closed at varying times between 1pm and 10pm to all traffic and signed accordingly. No Parking/Tow Away zones will be enforced by the City of Turlock - Turlock Police Department. Lane restrictions will be in effect on Fulkerth Rd. near the Fairgrounds for post-event exiting traffic.
