The firefighting professionals and staff of the Turlock Fire Department (TFD) are proud to serve the citizens of the City of Turlock in Stanislaus County. Turlock is geographically located in the center of the San Joaquin Valley of California. It is the second largest City in Stanislaus County and is located along the Highway 99 corridor.

Responding to approximately 7,000 calls for service each year (from 4 Fire Stations), TFD is a high-performance fire department. In terms of critical infrastructure, TFD is the emergency service provider for a number of high-hazard occupancies, including commercial processing facilities; 1 hospital with an emergency department; the Stanislaus County Fair Grounds; and California State University Stanislaus, with a student population of more than 9,000 on a 228-acre campus.

Yesterday morning at approximately 6:39 am Turlock Fire Department responded to the report of a tree into a house in the 1500 block of E Hawkeye Ave. When crews arrived they found a large tree through the middle of the house. There was 1 occupant home when the tree came down. No injuries were reported.

Congratulations MST Firefighter Academy 2022-02! Last night, seven Turlock firefighters graduated from a 14 week academy alongside firefighters from Modesto Fire and Stanislaus Consolidated Fire Protection District. They are now assigned to an engine company and serving the citizens of Turlock.

Last night, Turlock Fire had the honor of promoting 3 personnel in a joint MST ceremony with Modesto Fire Department and Stanislaus Consolidated Fire Protection District. The promotions included three engineers. Congratulations to all!

This week the Turlock Fire Department pauses to remember Engineer Keith Crabtree who died in the line of duty on January 10, 2012 due to job related cancer.

Yesterday morning at approximately 10:39 am all Turlock Fire units responded to the report of a structure fire in the 4000 block of W Main St. First arriving crews found smoke coming from the home. Crews brought the fire under control within 30 minutes.
