Vehicle Accident Involving Ambulance

Turlock – At approximately 9:33 p.m. on July 25, 2019 an ambulance transporting a critical patient from a vehicle versus pedestrian accident at North Olive Avenue and Hawkeye Avenue was involved in a vehicle accident at North Golden State Boulevard and West Monte Vista Avenue.

Two Turlock firefighters were inside the transporting ambulance assisting with critical patient care when the accident occurred. A total of six patients, including the two firefighters, have been transported to various local hospitals. Injuries of the patients range from moderate to severe. The two Turlock firefighters are currently being evaluated at a local hospital.

Turlock City Fire Department responded to this accident with two engines, Squad 32, a battalion chief, and the interim fire chief.
